Pohjapiirros: The New ‘Must Have’ for Sellers

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – HAR.com, the online Multiple Listing Service created by the Houston Association of Realtors, has always been a top website in the realty listings platforms.

Under HAR president and CEO Bob Hale, HAR was one of the first, if not  the  first, Realtor association to put its listings on the Internet, available for the public to see in the 1990s.

Since then, HAR, which is the second largest realty association behind Miami, has been improving their listings with more complete data about neighborhoods, adding more photos, etc.

The latest tool for HAR’s 50,000 agents is CubiCasa, a program that enables agents to easily scan a home and create a floor plan which can be uploaded onto the home’s listing on HAR.com.

“At HAR, we understand the significance of visual media in today’s real estate market,” said HAR President and CEO Bob Hale. “By collaborating with CubiCasa, we can offer our 50,000 members an innovative solution that simplifies the floor plan creation process. It also gives agents and consumers a new way to navigate the homebuying process.”

Across the country, about a dozen realty associations have announced recent agreements with CubiCasa.

“We are thrilled to join forces with the Houston Association of Realtors on our mission to bring floor plans to every listing in the U.S.,” said Jeff Allen, president of CubiCasa. “This agreement with HAR reinforces our commitment to fostering an organized real estate ecosystem with more informed consumers.”

CubiCasa, which operates globally, is based in Oulu, Finland.

How do you say “floor plan” in Finnish? That’s right, it’s “pohjapiirros.”
