HOUSTON – The Pollo Tropical fast-casual restaurant chain is expanding in Texas.
“We set our sights on Texas in 2014 with the opening of our first location in Addison, and the response to our brand in the Lone Star State has been great,” said Pollo Tropical Chief Operating Officer Danny Meisenheimer. “We now have 19 Texas restaurants and have four more locations slated for the Dallas-Fort Worth area by year’s end, with continued expansion planned for 2016.”
Pollo Tropical soon will open two 3,400-square-foot locations in League City in the Houston area and in San Antonio on Thousand Oaks Drive.
The chain, a subsidiary of Miami-based Fiesta Restaurant Group, is a Caribbean-inspired fast-casual concept known for flame-grilled chicken marinated in fruit juices and spices.
