Randall Davis Starting Condominium Tower Near River Oaks

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Randall Davis, who pioneered the historic loft trend in Houston before moving on to high-rise residential development, has launched a new tower.

Davis named the new 25-story project “The Paramount.” The Paramount’s 50 homes will be priced at $1,055,000 and up.

Located near the affluent River Oaks neighborhood, the development, 3723 Westheimer, is between Weslayan and Buffalo Speedway.

Davis has retained Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty to handle sales in building. The agency’s Hedley Karpas and Karen Gillespie will direct the sales, which have begun in anticipation of groundbreaking around the end of the year.

It’s designed by father and daughter team Randall and Natalie Davis in tandem with architectural services company Power Brown Architecture of Houston. The contemporary exterior of The Paramount will be characterized by highly stylized geometric ornamentation framed by white limestone with black and gold accents. An Art Deco-style crow on top of the building that will light up the Uptown skyline at night.

The boutique high rise will be home to just 50 residences – two to four units per floor – ranging in size from 1,800 SF for a 2-bedroom condo up to 6,500 SF for a 2-story penthouse that is expected to be priced at approximately $5 million.

Features at The Paramount include 11-foot ceilings, private elevator entry, and views of River Oaks and Uptown District along with indoor and outdoor pools, 24-hour concierge service and valet parking.

Davis has developed a number of condominium projects including the Metropolis Gotham, Renoir, Manhattan, Empire, Metropolis-Las Vegas, St. Germain, Emerald, Cosmopolitan, Sapphire-South Padre, Diamond Beach in Galveston and the Hotel Icon in downtown.

“Randall Davis Company has a proven track record after completing more condo buildings than any other developer in Texas, and I’m thrilled to collaborate with him and his entire team on the next big asset to be added to an esteemed roster of bold-faced buildings,” Gillespie said.

Davis acquired the Westheimer Road tract last year from Ascot Meadow LLC.
