HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Unilev Management and partner Azrieli Group are undertaking a redevelopment the One and Two Riverway office buildings near Uptown Houston.

The buildings, with a total of 880,000 SF, are located south of Woodway, near Buffalo Bayou. Flood gates and backflow preventers are being installed to protect the buildings.

Extensive renovations, designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects, will be completed later this year. CBRE’s Kristn Rabel, Marilyn Guion and Parker Duffie are leasing the buildings.

“The Riverway complex is of incredible importance to Unilev and we have been diligently planning and implementing measures to return these assets back to a premier choice for tenants in the Galleria submarket. The lobby and amenity renovations will enable us to elevate the service we can provide to our tenants today and in the future,” said Matthew Kent, Chief Operating Officer for Unilev Management Corporation.

CBRE Senior Vice President, Kristen Rabel added, “A new and modernized One and Three Riverway, offering best in class amenities, will further strengthen its presence in the market. Ownership is fully committed to the long-term success of both One and Three Riverway and are investing significant capital to ensure they remain the preferred option for tenants that desire superior access within the West Loop submarket.”

Notable tenants include Texas Capitol Bank, King Ranch, Martin Energy and Thompson Coe.
