RNR People in Real Estate – (Realty News Report) – HOUSTON – Clint Bawcom, who has led Cushman & Wakefield’s Houston office for four years, has joined Transwestern Real Estate Services.

Bawcom will lead Transwestern’s sizable commercial real estate operations in Houston. Kevin Roberts, a 36-year veteran of Transwestern who has served as Houston’s market leader for 15 years, will transition to the role of Executive Vice President of Strategic Client Relationships. Bawcom, who worked at Transwestern early in his career, has held senior leadership roles at Brookfield Properties and Cassidy Turley. Bawcom is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
HOUSTON – Colton Beardmore has joined MetroNational as development manager where he will focus on new development mixed-use projects. Previously he had been with Rice Management Co. and Midway.
HOUSTON – Mark Nicholson has been appointed Managing Director of Property Services at Partners Real Estate. Nicholson will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for Partners’ property management portfolio throughout Texas. He most recently served as Vice President, Real Estate at Group RMC and prior to that, spent nearly 15 years at CBRE.
HOUSTON – Cresa has strengthened its industrial practice with the appointment of Carl Mueller as a Principal in its Houston office. Previously with JLL, Mueller has nearly a decade of experience advising warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics users. Focused on tenant representation, Cresa now has 29 licensed advisors and professionals following the acquisitions of Houston-based Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners last summer and Axis Tenant Advisors in January.
HOUSTON – Maria Gomelsky has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Dinerstein Companies, a multifamily real estate development, construction, property management, and investment management firm based in Houston. She succeeds David Glaser, who is retiring after seven years with the company.
HOUSTON – Griffin Partners announced the additions of Ryan Olive as an Associate, Capital Markets in its Houston headquarters, and Brooke Lambert as an Assistant Property Manager in Charlotte, N.C.
HOUSTON – Pamela Murphy Indihar has founded Lou Collective, a marketing and consulting firm. She had been Director of Marketing and Public Relations – North America for Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services.
HOUSTON – Angelina Stone has joined Rebel Retail Advisors as a Director working to secure retail, restaurant, and entertainment tenants at mixed-use developments including Midway’s Central Park Post Oak, a redevelopment of the Post Oak Central complex near the Galleria. Stone previously was with PM Realty Group and Madison Marquette. Rebel Retail Advisors also named Vy Tran as Marketing Director. Tran had been marketing coordinator at Howard Hughes Holdings. Houston-based Rebel Retail Advisors was founded earlier this year by Lacee Jacobs.

AUSTIN – Ryan Kasten has joined CBRE as the Market Leader and Senior Managing Director for Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. Based in Austin, Kasten will drive the firm’s growth strategies for all Advisory Service lines, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation and property management. Kasten recently served as Managing Director for Partners Real Estate overseeing the firm’s brokerage services for Austin and San Antonio. Prior to that, he was with Cushman & Wakefield.
FORT WORTH – Crescent Real Estate has named Troy Furbay as Managing Director of Hospitality, where he will oversee the Fort Worth-based firm’s hospitality investment platform. With decades of experience in lodging and real estate investment, Furbay previously was chief investment officer at DiamondRock Hospitality.
DALLAS – Project Management Advisors has hired 35-year energy expert David Swank as Vice President to lead its power and energy practice. He is based in Dallas. Swank’s expertise spans grid operations, energy auditing, rate design, utility coordination, and digital infrastructure planning.
DALLAS – Stream Realty Partners has hired Tom Boyer as Senior Director of Project Management in its Dallas office. Boyer, who previously served as Senior Director at CBRE, will oversee the delivery of high-profile interior buildouts and capital improvement projects for corporate occupiers.
FORT WORTH – Hillwood has promoted longtime aviation executive Christopher Ash to President of the Alliance Aviation Companies at Hillwood’s Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. Ash will oversee all operations at Perot Field, including management of the airport.
DALLAS – Cushman & Wakefield announced that an industrial leasing team led by Brett Owens and John Brewer joined the firm. Owens and Brewer, both Managing Directors, are joined by Riley Maxwell and Clayton Johnson, Senior Directors, and Jack Brewer and Sam Nelson, Senior Associates. They were previously with Transwestern.
AUSTIN – Neal Kieschnik has joined Edge Realty Partners in Austin as a Principal. With over 20 years of retail brokerage experience, Neal specializes in Central Texas activity. Most recently, Neal was with CBRE and before that he managed project leasing assignments at United Commercial Realty.
DALLAS – Brandy Richardson has been appointed chief financial officer at Saks Global, effective Aug. 18. Based in Dallas, Richardson succeeds Interim Chief Financial Officer Mark Weinsten, who joined Saks following its acquisition of Neiman Marcus Group in December. Richardson joins Saks from Tailored Brands, where she has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2021. She previously held several finance leadership roles during her 15-year tenure at Neiman Marcus Group.

CHICAGO – Brennan Investment Group, a real estate investment firm that acquires, develops, and operates industrial facilities throughout the United States, has promoted Dan Smith to Senior Vice President. Smith will oversee acquisitions across the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis regions.
LOS ANGELES – Scott Smith has joined JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform as a Senior Director based in Los Angeles. As part of the West Region multi-housing team, Smith will focus primarily on California multifamily appraisals. He joins JLL from Curtis-Rosenthal.
LOS ANGELES – Cushman & Wakefield has hired Chase Tagen as a Managing Director in the firm’s National Debt & Equity practice based in Los Angeles. Tagen has executed more than $30 billion in capital markets transactions in the last 12 years, most recently with Newmark.
PHOENIX – Bryce Terveen has joined Colliers as Executive Managing Director and Brokerage Market Leader for Arizona. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president at CBRE in Phoenix.
PALO ALTO, Calif. – Cushman & Wakefield has hired Conor Flannery as Executive Vice Chair. Based in Silicon Valley, Flannery has more than 20 years of experience in occupier services and tenant representation. Flannery had been with JLL, where he closed over 1,200 leases valued at more than $2 billion and structured more than 50 acquisitions totaling $3 billion.
SEATTLE – Kelly Dilts has been appointed chief financial officer at Nordstrom, effective Aug. 29, and will oversee all core financial functions, as well as real estate, store development, and strategic sourcing. Dilts joins Nordstrom from Dollar General where she has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2023. She previously worked at Francesca’s Holding Corp. and Tailored Brands.
LAS VEGAS – Nevada-based Logic Commercial Real Estate welcomed the team of Scott Donaghe and Adrian Pak to the Las Vegas brokerage office. Donaghe and Pak join the office from Avison Young.
