MANVEL, Texas – Pomona, Hillwood Communities’ 1,000-acre master-planned community south of Houston, is nearing completion of its first phase.
About 103 homes have been sold at Pomona, where homebuilding began in December of 2015.
Pomona, located west of Highway 288 and south of Pearland, will have 2,000 homes upon completion.
Hillwood is a Dallas-based real estate firm led by Ross Perot Jr. In its residential division, Hillwood has delivered more than 25,000 single-family lots in 80 master-planned communities. The firm also has major commercial real estate developments in North America and Europe, including the 17,000-acre Alliance Texas development, which features a private commercial airport in Fort Worth.
