ATASCOCITA – (Realty News Report) – MedCore Partners and TNRG have broken ground on the Fountainwood at Lake Houston, a 190-unit senior living community near the northeast corner of West Lake Houston Parkway and Will Clayton Parkway.

Situated just off the shores of Lake Houston and offering premier senior living services to the greater northeast Houston area, Fountainwood at Lake Houston will offer 98 Independent Living, 68 Assisted Living, and 24 Memory Care units. The community will open in the summer of 2020.

Integral Senior Living (ISL) will manage Fountainwood. ISL will oversee all programs and services to include valet services, fine dining, bistro, bar and entertainment areas, salon and spa, multiple activities venues, a state-of-the-art fitness center, club rooms, theater, meditation garden, and interconnected courtyard pool with al fresco dining.

Financing is by UMB Bank. PRDG provided architectural and engineering services with interior design direction from Studio Six5 and landscape design by Pacheco Koch. Ridgemont Commercial Construction is the general contractor.

The project is the second Houston-area senior living development for TNRG and MedCore Partners. The companies previously opened the 80-unit Spring Cypress Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Cypress, Texas last year. The second phase of Spring Cypress is currently in design which will add 138 Independent Living units, hybrid townhomes, and garden homes.
