LOS ANGELES – Trump Hotels is eyeing an expansion in the United States including adding a hotel in Dallas, according to Bloomberg News.
“There are 26 major metropolitan areas in the U.S., and we’re in five,” Trump Hotels CEO Eric Danziger said Tuesday at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in Los Angeles, Bloomberg reported. “I don’t see any reason that we couldn’t be in all of them eventually.”
Trump currently has hotels in New York, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas and Washington D.C.
In addition to Dallas, Trump is also looking at hotel opportunities in Seattle, Denver and San Francisco, Bloomberg reported.
Amid criticism about potential conflicts of interest, President Donald Trump turned over control of the Trump Organization to his sons, Don Jr. and Eric.
Trump, who declined to disclose his federal tax returns, has maintained that divestiture or the establishment of a blind trust, which have been used by previous presidents, is not possible because Trump’s assets lack liquidity.
