CHICAGO – Houston-based David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is entering the Chicago market. This marks the first time the Texas home builder is building homes in Illinois. Anticipated sales of Weekley’s in-town, high density homes to begin fourth quarter 2014.

Weekley announced the promotion of John Morgan to Division President to lead the company’s Chicago operations.
David Weekley Homes was founded 1976 in Houston and has built more than 70,000 homes and operates in 18 markets across the country. The company was named the 2013 National Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine.
