Jackson Walker Leases Space in 5 Houston Center

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The Jackson Walker law firm has leased 77,015 SF at 5 Houston Center, a 27-story story building in downtown Houston.

Transwestern Executive Vice President Eric Anderson and Vice President Tyler Garrett represented the landlord, Spear Street Capital.

5 Houston Center, a 580,000-SF tower was developed by Crescent Real Estate and it opened about 17 years ago.

Jackson Walker renewed a 74,094-SF lease in 5 Houston, which is located at 1401 McKinney St. In The law firm also expanded its offices by 2,921 SF. Tim Relyea of Cushman & Wakefield represented Jackson Walker

“Jackson Walker is a long-term, highly valued tenant, and its renewal and expansion is a testament to the new building ownership and upcoming renovations at the project,” said Garrett of Transwestern. “The building is surrounded by a host of new amenities, and the momentum around the area will only continue.”

5 Houston Center is a key element in the burgeoning growth occurring on the east side of Houston’s Central Business District. Located adjacent to Discovery Green park, the building is near new street-level restaurants, hotels and multifamily projects.
