BATON ROUGE, La. – Moody Rambin, in partnership with American National Insurance Company, has acquired a majority interest in the 370,000-SF Towne Center at Cedar Lodge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Towne Center at Cedar Lodge is located nearJefferson Highway in the heart of the upscale Bocage and Jefferson Place neighborhoods in Baton Rouge. Built in 2005, it has been 96 percent leased for 11 years

Moody Rambin will manage the asset and direct leasing and marketing strategy. Frost Bank provided acquisition financing.

“For lifestyle retailers, Towne Center offers a maturing market with increasing demand. The Baton Rouge area is on the radar of a variety of national, international and local firms looking to expand market share in new territory,” said Dan Moody III, principal, Moody Rambin.

The lifestyle retail center includes Whole Foods, The Gap, Banana Republic, Kirkland’s, Books-A-Million, P.F. Chang’s, Fleming’s, Chico’s, White House | Black Market, Bumble Lane, Heroman’s Florist, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor and other national, regional and local tenants.
