Online Retailer Debuts Flagship Houston Store

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Vevor, an online home improvement retailer, announced the grand opening of its first-ever global brick-and-mortar store in Houston.

Spanning nearly 32,000 SF at 10951 FM 1960 Road W., the store offers tools, garden equipment, and home improvement products. The opening marks Vevor’s evolution from a digital-first company to an omnichannel brand with more locations planned across the U.S. In addition to in-store shopping, customers can buy products online and pick them up in store.

Vevor, which counts DIY enthusiasts, professional builders, and small business owners among its customers, was founded in 2017 as an eBay seller. It began selling on Amazon in 2013 and launched vevor.com in 2020.

“Over the past decade, Vevor has always stood for one simple idea: pro-level performance at a price that doesn’t exclude anyone. This store is that promise made physical,” Gavin Wu, Brand Director at Vevor said in an announcement. “Our Houston flagship brings the Vevor experience into the real world—giving customers the chance to see, test, and trust the tools they rely on, while helping us stay closer to the people who build, create, and improve every day.”

The new store, which took over the former Big Lots at FM 1960 and Jones Road, features a “Hands-on Pro Zone,” where customers can test equipment such as jacks and woodworking machinery. It will also offer DIY workshops, professional training sessions, and other events. Vevor is celebrating its grand opening with specials and festivities on March 9.

Vevor operates in over 50 countries, with a network of more than 200 global warehouses and a catalog of over 15,000 products.
