HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Partners Real Estate has been named as the exclusive leasing agent for 1000 Main, a premier office tower along METRO’s Main Street Square rail station in downtown Houston.
Michael Anderson, Chip Colvill, and Audrey Parsons of Partners will lead the leasing effort for the 36-story building.
“1000 Main is uniquely positioned to capture the high-caliber tenants driving Houston’s ongoing flight to quality,” Anderson said in an announcement. “Large law firms, professional services, and select energy and financial groups continue to invest in premium office environments that elevate their brand and support long-term talent retention. Our strategy focuses on aligning the building’s physical product and marketing narrative with the high expectations of these premium occupiers.”
Germany-based Union Investment purchased 1000 Main in 2015 for $440 million in one of the biggest Houston realty deals ever at that time. The building, which is bounded by Main, Lamar, Travis, and McKinney, was developed by Century Development in 2003.
Containing nearly 840,000-SF, the tower features upgraded tenant amenities and a variety of restaurants on the tunnel level. Outside, DowntownHouston+ is transforming seven blocks of city streets into a pedestrian-friendly corridor of public plazas, shaded walkways and outdoor dining known as Main Street Promenade. Across the street, the One City Centre office building is slated for conversion to residential.

Last year, Partners Real Estate was selected as the exclusive leasing agency for 801 Travis, a 21-story tower in downtown Houston.
