HOUSTON – (People in Real Estate by Realty News Report) – MetroNational, the Houston-based developer of the 300-acre Memorial City mixed-use development on the Katy Freeway, announced that Jason Johnson has been promoted to CEO. MetroNational, founded by Jason’s grandfather in 1954, owns more than 10 million SF of commercial real estate. Jason joined the family business in 2013 and has served as the company’s President and Vice Chairman since 2015. In addition to CEO, he will remain as President. He assumes the role of CEO from his father Roy Johnson who will now serve as Executive Chairman.
HOUSTON – Partners Capital, the investment platform of Partners Real Estate, announced that it has hired hospitality expert, Adam Lair to lead its hospitality investment strategy and launch Partners Hospitality Fund I later this year.
HOUSTON – Kelly Landwermeyer, John Kruse and Carter Holmes have joined Cushman & Wakefield. They will be based in the firm’s Houston office as part of the industrial team.
HOUSTON – Partners Development, the development platform of Partners Real Estate, has hired Courtney Jeffrey as Development and Leasing Manager. She will be responsible for managing the operational and leasing functions of Partners’ development projects, reporting directly to Carter Perrin. Jeffrey has worked with development firms including Midway, Slate Real Estate Partners and a Miami-based apartment firm called RESIA. Jeffrey’s “expertise and track record managing both midrise and high-rise residential projects along with high-rise office buildings will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our growth strategy into new asset classes,” said Perrin.
CHICAGO — Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Noelle Perkins as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, effective July 1.
DALLAS – Alex Keeton has joined Stream Realty Partners in Dallas as senior associate, industrial capital markets. He had been with Paladin Partners.
