AUSTIN – (Realty News Report) – Partners Real Estate announced that Stan Nowak has joined the firm as a Partner in the company’s Austin office. He had been with Avison Young, where he served as Principal of its Capital Markets group. “If you know Austin industrial real estate, then you know Stan Nowak—he consistently ranks among the top producers in the city, and adding a veteran broker of Stan’s caliber at the Partner level in our Austin office will substantially augment our ability to service every commercial real estate need our clients have,” said Jon Silberman, Managing Partner of Partners.


SAN FRANCISCO – The Gensler architecture firm  announced that after nearly 20 years of leadership, Andy Cohen and Diane Hoskins will transition from their roles as Co-CEOs to become the firm’s first Global Co-Chairs. As part of a planned succession strategy, Cohen and Hoskins welcome a new generation of collaborative leadership, naming Julia Simet and Jordan Goldstein as incoming Co-CEOs to lead the firm’s day-to-day operations. Goldstein and Simet will manage Gensler’s day-to-day operations across the firm’s 53 global offices with more than 6,000 employees.


DALLAS – Michael Dardick, Founding Partner & CEO of Granite Properties, will transition to Executive Chairman and current Senior Managing Director and Dallas market leader, Will Hendrickson, will become Granite’s CEO, effective Jan 1. Granite is realigning its leadership to support the continued growth. Other leadership changes include: Bill Brown, currently CIO, will be promoted to President and continue his role as CIO. Paul Bennett, currently Senior Director of Investments, will be promoted to Senior Managing Director and the Dallas market Leader succeeding Will Hendrickson. Scott Martin continues as Houston market leader.


HOUSTON – Houston-based Eagle Point Lending has hired Edward Hymes as CEO and partner as it embarks on a plan for significant growth in Texas. Earlier he was president of Planet Fitness and CEO of Jiffy Lube. Eagle Point is a private real estate lender currently serving real estate investors in the Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth markets.


LOS ANGELES – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform has hired Jessica White, MAI, as a Director in its Los Angeles office. White will focus on hotel value and risk advisory assignments and will report to Hotel National Practice Lead Charlotte Kang.


FORT WORTH – Taylor Starnes has been named Vice President – Acquisitions Central Region at Caprock Partners. Starnes had been involved in industrial investment sales with Cushman & Wakefield in Texas.


DALLAS – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform hired Nick Askew as a Director in Dallas and Tom Jeffries as an Executive Director in Denver. The duo will focus on office and mixed-use value and risk advisory assignments in their respective markets as part of the group’s U.S. office sector team.


NEW YORK – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform has hired Bart Sobieralski as a Vice President in the firm’s New York office. Sobieralski will focus on business development, particularly for the Environment & Property Condition group.
