HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Construction has begun on Spring Plaza, a retail center at the corner of Spring Stuebner Road and Spring Plaza Drive on the north side of Houston.
Capital Retail Properties is leasing the 13,000-SF center, which was designed by CDA Architects.
The center, located south of the Grand Parkway and west of Interstate 45, is near the Springwoods Village development where the 3 million SF Exxon Mobil campus is located.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the phenomenal growth that is changing the face of Spring and excited to bring more retail and dining choices to support adjacent Springwoods Village, as well as the neighboring apartment complexes abutting this property,” said Capital Retail Properties Partner Anderson Smith.
The center is slated for completion in November.
Just over half of the retail space is now accounted for with Anderson Smith and Connor Lynch representing Capital Retail Properties. Smoothie King has signed a lease for 1,360 square feet and was represented by Greg Slusky with Sluco Realty Services. Represented by Eddie Lang of Quenby Commercial, Wingstop has executed a lease for 1,760 square feet. Veterinary practice A Couple of Vets will occupy 3,400 square feet and was represented by Patrick Valentz with Xite Realty.
