Veteran Houston Office Brokers Harry Holmes and Charlie Neuhaus Move to NAI Partners

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Veteran office brokers Harry Holmes and Charlie Neuhaus have joined the Office Tenant Rep Group at NAI Partners in Houston. The two brokers have closed deals with a combined transaction value in excess of $2 billion.

“Harry and Charlie are among the best-known and most highly regarded brokers in Houston—boasting a combined 60 years of industry experience—and we are incredibly excited to be able to add their expertise, knowledge and relationships to our deep-rooted tenant rep business and our firm in general,” said Jon Silberman, Managing Partner of NAI Partners.

Holmes previously a principal with Avison Young. In a 40-year career, his notable clients have included Occidental Petroleum, Citicorp Bank, Gulf Chemical & Resources, Texas Eastern, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Neuhaus was also previously a Principal with Avison Young, where he completed more than $1 billion in transactions.

NAI Partnersrecently reported that Houston office market has suffered almost 3 million SF in negative absorption. Approximately 4 million square feet of office space in under construction in the Houston area with the largest building being the 47-story Texas Tower under construction by Hines in downtown. Vacancy has been rising and many corporate tenants are delaying leasing decisions until there is more clarity regarding the impact of the pandemic.
