HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – In an expansion of the iBuyers trend, the Zavvie residential technology firm has launched a partnership with Houston’s largest realty firm, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene, to provide home sellers with multiple instant offers on their home.
New online real estate companies, called iBuyers, will buy houses quickly from home sellers without the traditional process of listing the home for sale to the general public.
These options now include purchase offers from Opendoor, Zillow Offers, and Offerpad – called iBuyers because these online firms offer to “instantly buy” homes, which they later resell.
The new twist in Houston, is the involvement of Better Homes and Gardens Gary Greene, which though Zavvie will enable sellers to solicit offers from several iBuyers with what will be called the Gary Greene Offer Optimizer.
In addition to comparing offers from iBuyers, the program also will bring in an Gary Greene agent for local expertise and service.
“Now more than ever, homeowners are seeking the expertise of a trusted real estate agent to make the right sales decision,” explains Mark Woodroof, Managing Partner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.
A recent iBuyer study from the Houston Association of Realtors found that 41 percent of all sellers would consider an iBuyer offer. Among the homeowners who would consider an iBuyer offer, 92 percent still want to be represented by a Realtor.
The BHGRE Gary Greene iBuyer platform addresses crucial aspects that consumers may overlook when it comes to instant offers.
“With a Gary Greene agent at their side,” Woodroof added, “when a home seller accepts an iBuyer offer, they have an advocate who can expertly guide them through the entire transaction.”
Gary Greene partnered with Zavvie, whose technology, powers the iBuyer platforms of top brokerages across the U.S. Zavvie connects agents and their clients to iBuyers, using online tools that provide current, reliable, and market-specific data so homeowners can make informed decisions with the help of a professional agent.
“It should be no surprise that nearly everyone who considers an iBuyer instant offer wants the help of a real estate pro like the team at Gary Greene,” said Lane Hornung, CEO and Founder of zavvie. “While it only takes the push of a button to get an instant offer, selling a home, even to an iBuyer, is not instant. That’s why sellers seek the help of an agent. They want representation, guidance, and at times, some emotional support.”
“Gary Greene is getting out in front of the increasing demand for instant offers by bringing the iBuyers to the table for their clients. In Houston, Gary Greene agents are providing sellers with multiple offers and all options — backed by a passion for providing an exceptional experience,” Hornung added.
Gary Greene, founded in 1963, has 24 offices and 1,300 agents.
