SUGAR LAND, Texas – E Contractors has broken ground on a 22,000 SF office building in the Sugar Land community in Fort Bend County.
Located in the Lake Pointe area near the northwest corner of Highway 6 and U.S. 59, the two-story structure will have a modern glass exterior and steel construction.
E Contractors is both the builder and developer of the building, which is expected to be complete in January 2018.
The building, located on a 1.5-acre site, is called Egrets Landing Sugar Land.
“We want to create a distinguished ambiance that takes advantage of the water views for our tenants, who we envision will be local to the Sugar Land area and will like to showcase their business through this unique location,” said Irfan Abji, chief executive officer and principal of E Contractors.
This is the first planned Egrets Landing, said Abji, who hopes to bring this model to other popular Houston suburbs, including Katy and The Woodlands.
Pre-leasing has begun. E Contractors and sister company Oakdale Group will office out of Egrets Landing.
