(Realty News Report) – HOUSTON – Transwestern Commercial Services announced John Ferruzzo  and Nick Peterson, formerly of NAI Partners, have joined Transwestern toexpand its Occupier Solutions and Investment Sales services for industrial users and investors throughout the country. Ferruzzo recently was named Industrial Broker of Year by the Houston chapter of NAIOP.

HOUSTON – Hines announced a new structure for the firm’s investment management platform to develop, acquire and operate real estate assets globally in partnership with institutional and retail investors. The new investment management platform will be co-led by Global Chief Investment Officer David Steinbach and CEO of Capital Markets Chris Hughes. Joining Steinbach and Hughes are three new geographic Chief Investment Officers overseeing investment strategies in the Americas, Europe and Asia — Alfonso Munk,  Alex Knapp and Lee Timmins.

HOUSTON – Ryan Searle, formerly of NAI Partners in Houston, has joined Cushman & Wakefield in Denver. Searle will be with the McManus Industrial Team at Cushman & Wakefield in Colorado.

HOUSTON – Lee & Associates – Houston, a nationwide leader in commercial real estate services, announces the promotion of John Erck from associate to director.

AUSTIN – Anish Michael was named CEO of the Austin-based Firmspace co-working organization.

AUSTIN – Kristin Armenia was named business development director at Douglas Elliman Texas, a residential brand that recently entered the Texas market.
