HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – First America Homes has started a new division in Austin and will build 900 homes in a dozen communities across Central Texas as part of its statewide expansion.
A division of The Woodlands-based Signorelli Co., First America Homes opened an office in the Arboretum area to oversee construction and sales operations for current and future communities in Central Texas. The move follows the builder’s recent entry to Dallas where it is nearing completion on its first homes.
“Central Texas continues to benefit from strong market fundamentals and sustained population growth,” said Danny Signorelli, founder and CEO of The Signorelli Co. “That momentum creates tremendous opportunities for expansion as we bring more quality homes and exceptional living experiences to families across the region.”
First America Homes has secured lots in three Austin area communities for its entry to the market:
Blue Sky, a 928-acre master-planned community in Lockhart, between Austin and San Antonio.
Okra Creek, a Travis Count community in Manor where it will offer floorplans from 1,799 to 3,266 square feet.
The Ridge West, part of The Ridge master-planned development in Kyle, between Austin and San Antonio, within Hays CISD.
First America Homes is significantly expanding its footprint in the San Antonio region with nine new communities, bringing its total to 12 communities.
“San Antonio continues to be an important market for First America Homes, and we’re excited to broaden our presence across the region,” said Chris Hill, Division President of First America Homes San Antonio. “These new communities allow us to reach more homebuyers throughout Bexar County and the surrounding areas while building on the strong relationships we’ve established in the communities we serve.”
The new communities across Bexar County and surrounding areas include: Arcadia Ridge, Chasin, Sandy Oaks, and Holly Heights in San Antonio; Dauer Ranch, Park Place, and Weltner Farms in New Braunfels; Villas Las Flores, with one-acre homesites off US Highway 181 in Floresville; and Violet Farms in La Coste, just west of San Antonio.
First America Homes ranked No. 75 on the Builder 100 list, with 750 homes built in 2025.
“Entering the Austin market represents an important milestone in our growth strategy, further strengthening our presence across Texas and aligning with our commitment to serve customers in all four of the state’s major metropolitan markets.” said John Winniford, President of First America Homes.
