HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – First America Homes has entered the Dallas-Fort Worth market where it will soon build homes in the city of Anna, north of Dallas.
Founded in 2010 as a division of The Signorelli Co., a developer based in The Woodlands, First America Homes operates in the Houston and San Antonio areas.
“Current market conditions in Dallas-Fort Worth present a compelling opportunity for well-capitalized companies like ours,” Danny Signorelli, CEO of The Signorelli Co., said in an announcement. “After evaluating Dallas-Fort Worth for several years, we believe the timing is right to expand. Our financial strength and long-term perspective allow us to capitalize on strategic opportunities while helping industry partners right-size their positions.”
The expansion puts First America Homes into what has consistently been one of the nation’s top markets for new home construction. The company will begin building homes in the Leonard Trails community in July.
First America Homes has secured 81 lots in Leonard Trails, a 98-acre community along TX-5 near East White Street in Anna. The company will build homes ranging from 1,700 to 3,200 SF starting in the $300,000s. Plans will be offered for 30-foot and 40-foot lots.
Signorelli will open a new divisional office to oversee construction and sales operations for current and future communities in Dallas-Fort Worth.
First America Homes builds across 30 communities in the greater Houston and San Antonio regions. The company plans to build in 15 additional communities in the D-FW and Austin markets.
First America Homes ranked No. 75 on the Builder 100 list, with 750 homes built in 2025.
“Backed by The Signorelli Company’s expertise in land development and community creation, we’re bringing our proven approach to homebuilding to one of the nation’s top housing markets while laying the foundation for long-term growth throughout North Texas,” said John Winniford, president of First America Homes.
In Houston, Signorelli is best known for Valley Ranch, a 1,400-acre community planned for 1,500 homes with a large retail and growing commercial district in New Caney. Austin Point, the company’s largest project at 4,700-acres, opened to home sales in the Richmond-Rosenberg area last year.
