RNR Real Estate Briefs – (Realty News Report) – SUGAR LAND, Texas – Mangan Inc. has renewed and expanded its lease from 22,732 SF to 28,575 SF at the Offices at Kensington, located at 1650 Highway 6 in Sugar Land. Jon Lee and Claire Douthit with CBRE represented the tenant. The expansion makes Mangan the largest tenant in the building and includes enhanced signage to increase visibility along Highway 6.

HOUSTON – Accesso has selected Stream Realty Partners to lead leasing for 10333 Richmond, a 218,746-SF, 11-story office building in Westchase. Availabilities range from 1,400 SF to more than 60,000 SF. Stream’s Brandon Levinson and Parker Noble will oversee the leasing efforts.

THE WOODLANDS – Howard Hughes Holdings announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition by Howard Hughes Insurance Holdings of Vantage Group Holdings, a specialty insurance and reinsurance company backed by Carlyle and Hellman & Friedman, for $2.1 billion. The deal will anchor Howard Hughes’ transformation into a diversified holding company.

HUMBLE – Eastham Capital announced the disposition of Eagle Crest Apartments, a 200-unit apartment complex at 5303 Atascocita Road in Humble. The property was acquired in 2017 by Eastham Capital Fund V, LP, as a joint venture between Mosaic Residential and Eastham Capital. At the time of disposition, Eagle Crest Apartments was 95% occupied, with in-place rents having increased from $936 at the time of acquisition to $1,228.

HOUSTON – Together We Rise Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care through programs focused on enrichment, leased a 7,500-SF industrial facility at 15160 Nautique Way. Tyler Holt and Jason Gibbons of Finial Group represented the landlord. Austin Honey and Jack Dragna of Titan Commercial represented the tenant.

CYPRESS, Texas – Daddy Group, LLC acquired a ground-leased property at 9534 Fry Road, Cypress. The property includes a 3,138-SF building on almost one acre. Scott Crowle, Jack Hinson, and Kevin Murray of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, GC Tuckerton-Fry One, L.P. George Montes of Cypressbrook Co. represented the buyer.

HOUSTON – McGrath and Co. leased 10,783 SF of office space at Brookhollow Central II, at 2900 North Loop West. Brian Strait and Parker Noble of Stream Realty represented the landlord, DM Brookhollow, LLC. John Hornbuckle of Cypressbrook Co. represented the tenant.

HOUSTON – Mitchell Minerals renewed 2,169 SF at 2204 Timberloch Place, The Woodlands. Cathy Young of SVN J. Beard Co. represented the landlord. Greg Usher of Cypressbrook Co. represented the tenant.

HOUSTON – Hacienda LPG Brokerage leased 2,938 SF at 3801 Kirby Drive, Suite 740. Ryan Hartsell and DJ Hale of Oxford Partners represented the tenant. Julie Taetz of the Appelt Co. represented the landlord, Lamesa Properties.

MONTGOMERY, Texas – Newcor brokers David Alexander and Josh Cheatham represented Ken Milstead in the purchase of a 12.2-acre tract at 14840 FM 2854 in Montgomery. The buyer has no immediate plans for development of the property, according to Newcor.

MONTGOMERY, Texas – Ken Milstead acquired 12 acres at 1965 McCaleb Road in Montgomery. David Alexander of Newcor represented the buyer. The seller, Joyce Cheshire Estate, was represented by Larry Jacobs of Jacobs Properties.

HOUSTON – Biz-Metric Partners renewed a 4,192-SF lease at 1650 Highway 6, Sugar Land. Oxford Partners’ Ryan Hartsell represented the tenant, Biz-Metric Partners. Louann Pereira of Transwestern represented the landlord, DML Kensington Office LP.

IRVING – Mercury One, a non-profit based in Irving, signed a full-building, 172,089-SF office lease at 6655 MacArthur Blvd. in Irving’s Las Colinas master-planned development. The property was originally developed in 1997. Matt Schendle and Mary Frances Burnette of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Orion Properties, while the firm’s Steve Wentz represented tenant. The building will house the American Journey Experience history museum and event center, Mercury One, and The Nazarene Fund.

THE COLONY, Texas – White Castle, a fast-food hamburger chain founded in 1921, broke ground on its first-ever Texas location. The 3,430-SF Texas Castle restaurant will open at Grandscape in The Colony in late fall 2026. Based in Columbus, Ohio, White Castle owns and operates 336 restaurants nationwide.

AUSTIN – JLL’s Capital Markets Group has secured an $870 million senior loan for Four Seasons Private Residences Lake Austin, an ultra-luxury residential development planned on 210 acres at 6509 Bridgepoint Parkway in Austin. JLL, alongside co-advisors Cobalt Equities and Adelaide Real Estate, represented the developers, Austin Capital Partners and Lincoln Property Co., in arranging the loans through TYKO Capital, an affiliate of Elliott Investment Management. Austin Capital Partners is an Austin-based real estate development firm led by Jonathan Coon, Jason Subotky, and Eduardo Margain.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Berkshire Hathaway agreed to acquire Taylor Morrison Home Corp. for $72.50 per share in a $6.8 billion deal expected to close in late 2026. Taylor Morrison will continue to be led by its existing management team, including CEO Sheryl Palmer. The national community developer and homebuilder operates in over 350 communities across 21 markets in 12 states.

VONORE, Tenn. – Brennan Investment Group acquired a 202,000-SF industrial manufacturing facility in the Knoxville MSA. The property is leased to Commercial Vehicle Group.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – BKM Capital Partners and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have acquired an 8.5-million-SF portfolio from the Link Logistics portfolio for $1.81 billion. The acquisition includes 51 multi-tenant light industrial properties across top-tier infill markets in California, Washington, Texas, and Georgia. The deal expands the joint venture’s footprint and operating platform to about 15 million SF.

HONOLULU – Howard Hughes Communities, the real estate platform of Howard Hughes Holdings, announced the opening of The Park Ward Village, the ninth residential development within its 60-acre Ward Village master planned community in Honolulu. The tower delivers 546 homes and more than 30,000 SF of retail and dining. At 97% pre-sold, the tower continues the momentum of  Ward Village where the first eight mixed-use residential towers sold out quickly and four additional towers are in pre-sales or development. The building was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, and landscape architecture by Vita Design Group.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Greystone has arranged $141 million in construction financing on behalf of The Hampton Group for the development of IKONIC Scottsdale, a 14-story, 245-unit multifamily tower at 16640 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Ariz. The financing consists of a senior mortgage provided by Bank OZK and a mezzanine loan from Related Fund Management. Designed by Gensler and constructed by Gilbane Building Co., the tower is anticipated to open in 2028.

PITTSBURGH – TPG Real Estate announced the acquisition of ECHO Realty, a full-service owner and operator of 230 grocery-anchored retail centers across the Midwest and Southeast U.S. The $2 billion transaction was led by TPG in partnership with PSP Investments, La Caisse, and Norges Bank Investment Management.
