Little Woodrow’s Expands in Texas

FRISCO, Texas – (Realty News Report) – Little Woodrow’s is expanding in Texas with the opening of a new sports bar in Frisco, Texas. And yes, there will be turtle racing.

The location at 8320 State Highway 121 in Stonebriar Center represents the 24th location for Little Woodrows, which was founded as a neighborhood icehouse in Houston in 1995. It is the second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, joining others in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Beaumont, and Midland.

Little Woodrow’s is a place for sports watching, trivia, happy hour, elevated bar food, competitive social gaming, and special events. The Frisco location has a 400-inch interior HD video wall, two outdoor HD jumbotrons, and 31 TVs throughout.

Sports City USA

Little Woodrow’s has partnered with the Frisco Roughriders Minor League Baseball team to serve as the team’s official after-party destination.

“Frisco is known as Sports City USA and is home to several professional sports organizations. Coming to Frisco just makes sense, aligning ourselves with that spirit while bringing our own brand of neighborhood hospitality to the city,” said Woody’s Brands CEO Ray Risley. “Little Woodrow’s has always been about sports. In addition to watching games on the big screens, Little Woodrow’s brings our own type of competitive fun to the table with backyard games, golf simulators and more for having good times, creating memories with friends and rooting on your team.”

Starting in May, Little Woodrows will offer Thursday night turtle racing, a tradition that began at the Midtown Houston location nearly 20 years ago. Other entertainment includes a golf bay for gaming, a private karaoke room, and yard games such as cornhole, giant Connect Four, and Jenga.

Woody’s Hideaway coming to Webster

Little Woodrow’s is part of Woody’s Brands, a collection of 45 neighborhood bar and entertainment venues that also include Woody’s Hideaway, Eddie’s Tavern, and others in Texas and Louisiana.

Woody’s Hideway is also in expansion mode. A Conroe location recently opened at 1128 W. Dallas, joining two other locations in Houston’s Energy Corridor and Midland, Texas.

Next, a 12,500-SF location featuring a 700-SF patio is planned to open at 20801 Gulf Freeway in Webster in late 2026. It is just south of the Little Woodrow’s across NASA Parkway in the Bay Area.

Woody’s Hideaway features darts, multiple pro-size Diamond 7 pool tables, Full Swing golf simulator bays, ping-pong, yard games, and big screen TVs throughout.

The new Webster location is near Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, a sports bar backed by former NFL quarterback Drew Brees that has been expanding in the Houston area.

Also nearby, Ale & Ivy will start construction on a 22,384-SF sports bar and restaurant at 335 Royal Tern Way in Webster’s Flyway district in June, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. It will be Ale & Ivy’s second location, joining 305 Sawdust Road in Spring upon opening in mid 2027.
