 RNR Real Estate Briefs from Realty News Report  HOUSTON — West Gulf Maritime Association, a company that provides services for Houston’s maritime labor market, leased 14,089 SF at 1717 Turning Basin. Ryan Hartsell  of Oxford Partners represented the tenant and Tara Oliver  with Oliver CRE  represented landlord Aston OB Turning Basin, LLC.

HOUSTON – Partners Real Estate   arranged a 7,275 SF lease with Maya & Associates at 10333 Richmond Ave. in Houston. Partners’ John Zivley represented the tenant. Kim Shapiro  of Avison Young  represented the landlord, Accesso Partners.

HOUSTON – Cushman & Wakefield  has secured a 9,000 SF lease at 6516 Foster St. with Main Street Theater for their fabrication and set design. Michael “Mike” Pittman II  and Jack Sullivan  of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlords, 4-6-6-4 Challenger LLC, Hindsight Investments LLC and 542 Allston Rental LP.

HOUSTON – Advance Auto Parts has leased 8,640 SF in Kirkwood Market Place at 11960 Westheimer in Houston. Advance Auto provides aftermarket automotive parts to both professionals and do-it-yourself customers. The landlord was represented by Josh O’Toole  of Phillip Edison & Company  and the tenant was represented by Katherine Wildman  of Wulfe & Co.

KAYY, Texas – Cushman & Wakefield  secured a lease with Urban Bird Hot Chicken at the Shops at Morton Ranch Crossing in Katy. The Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant is slated to open this fall. Eric Lestin  and Michael Burgower of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Brandale Properties. Eddie Lang  of Quenby Commercial  represented the tenant.

TOMBALL, Texas – Partners Real Estate  arranged the sale of a 4,290 SF office building at 455 School St. in Tomball. Partners’ Ryan McCullough, Tyler Jaynes and Caleb Bester  represented the seller, Patten Title Co.

HOUSTON – Ryan Hartsell  with Oxford Partners  represented the tenant in a transaction with Hanwha Power Systems. The 9,022 SF lease at 580 Westlake Park Blvd. in Houston was done on a turnkey basis with landlord concessions. Michell Wogan  and Evelyn Ward  with Transwestern  represented the landlord, Younan Properties.

STAFFORD, Texas — Quest Integrity Group  leased a 14,000 SF building at 11150 Cash Road in Stafford as temporary overflow office space after the company merged with Baker Hughes. The landlord was represented by Cotton Munson  of Davis Commercial.

SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas-based Scarborough Lane Development and Partners Real Estate  announced the pending creation of “AXIS Logistics Park,” a mega-industrial development they are co-developing. They have also elaborated on plans for the project. Formerly known as the SMART Terminal, the 2,000-acre park will have 735 acres zoned for industrial use. Partners’ lead brokers for AXIS Logistics Park are John Colglazier, Gray Gilbert, Chris Haro, Kyle Kennan  and John Simons.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Magma Equities  and a global real estate fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management  have acquired Bardin Greene, a 285-unit garden style multifamily property in Arlington from Moody National  Cos. Bardin Greene features a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units housed in 18 two-story residential buildings on a 16-acre site at 300 Bardin Greene Drive. Scott Ogilvie is Magma’s director of investments.

AUSTIN –Whisper Valley, a master planned community in East Austin, announced plans for a 600-acre public park. Located just off SH 130, the park will become the centerpiece of a new master trail plan that will ultimately connect to the city of Austin’s 4,000-acre Walter E. Long Park & Lake.

BEAUMONT, Texas – Marcus & Millichap  announced the sale of Purely Portfolio, a seven-property self-storage portfolio located in five cities in Southeast Texas. The asset has 2,627 units and 389,501 SF.

AUSTIN – Johnson-Tauch  announced development plans for ENSENADAS Lake Travis, set in the Texas Hill Country on the north shore of Lake Travis. The 80-acre development is comprised of 52 homesites ranging from one to two acres.

AUSTIN – CBRE  has been retained to market and sell 7th + Red River, a one-acre redevelopment opportunity in downtown Austin. The site includes the former Salvation Army Downtown Center at 501 E. 8th St., a 1,500 SF retail building at 718 Red River St. and a nearly half-acre surface parking lot at 700 Red River St.

NATIONAL — RNR Real Estate Briefs from Realty News Report

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Cushman & Wakefield  has brokered the sale of a two-tenant medical office building at 2394 N Alma School Road in Chandler (Phoenix), Ariz. The 10,446 SF building is fully leased to a dermatology practice and surgery center. The property was acquired by an out-of-state private investor for $6.5 million.

LA HABRA, Calif. – Cushman & Wakefield advised DMI Real Estate Group  in the sale of The Row on Harbor, a 23,314-SF retail strip center in La Habra (Orange County), Calif. Cushman & Wakefield’s Joseph Lising and Daniel Sydor worked with the seller. The multi-tenant center was acquired by a 1031, all-cash buyer.
